A series of images that examine the juxtaposition between what’s raw, unfinished, and old, to that which is finely curated, luxurious, and new — then blur the line between the two.

Once used to produce Ford Model Ts, Camp North End is a 76-acre historic, industrial site that served as the basis for our narrative. We were inspired by its historical context, representative of an era gone by, while carrying with it a spirit of ingenuity and innovation. There’s an element of unexpected vulnerability and soul in the space, which, alongside the performance of the model, allows the viewer to fully experience an unspoken story within the series.
Beauty in dichotomy
We were intrigued by the contrast between the subject and the space: a delicate, elegant model exuding warmth, posing in a raw, abandoned environment. There’s a unique balance between hard and soft, history and youth, masculine and feminine. We further explored this contrast throughout the details of the shoot; carefully selecting the right colors, textures, and materials to offset the layers of debris, built by a rich history of work and heritage in the space.
