Time-honored craft in a new era

Mantle Furniture is the first foray into ecommerce for a storied family furniture business. As the next generation of company leadership looked ahead, they aimed to digitally scale their offering of handcrafted, high-quality furniture through a new brand. One that could honor their legacy while meeting the modern aspirations and demands of today’s consumers. Mode partnered with the Parker family to help shape this story, starting with a holistic brand strategy and brand identity. The name Mantle tells a story of home, togetherness, and shepherding a generational business, while the visual identity layers in warmth and sophistication with a nod to traditional makers and craftsmen.

Crafting a complete brand experience

We worked with the Mantle team on every aspect of the brand launch, from the marketing strategy to the website development. Through an on-location shoot, we created photographic and motion-based assets that served as the building blocks of all executions. By producing content in coordination with the launch plan, it enabled true integration of the brand experience and maximized the life and value of every piece of content. We continue to partner with Mantle to tell its story across paid and organic media, excited by the opportunity to cultivate the generational business for a new era.

Our highly adaptable production studio brought the brand to life through still and motion-based content that highlight signature pieces and celebrate their makers.


As part of a strategic brand roll-out, we also focused our attention on Interior Designers, interviewing them for insights on how they work and source custom products.
